Ron Adams: President and Camp Director (509-499-1112)
Ron was born and raised in Spokane and was a graduate of Central Valley High School in 1967. His honors include All-City, All-State, League leading scorer and League's most valuable player. Ron played college basketball at the College of Southern Idaho and the University of Idaho and won All-American honors his sophomore year. Ron co-coached at Central Valley High School from 1981 to 1986 where he installed a free-throw shooting style that helped Central Valley High School win back-to-back national percentage titles. He and Jack Blair were named 1985 Co-Coaches of the Year. He is also noted as being one of the best shooting instructors on the west coast. His ability to judge talent in recruiting has helped him become a consultant to many NCAA Division I Colleges. He has helped over 330 High School women athletes obtain basketball scholarships. Ron has posted a win-loss record of 431-73 over the past 26 years with the Stars and has a string of 19 top seven finishes at nationals. His 2001-2002 teams won back-to-back B.C.I. National Championships. Ron is also the recruiter for the Stars as well as being the director of the Inland Empire/Pacific Coast Scouting Service and promoter and director of the Wash/ID All-Star game. Ron was tournament director of the 16-U and 18-U AAU Nationals in Spokane in 1996 and remains the Inland Empire Association's Girls Basketball Chairperson.
In 2004 the Spokane Stars Elite Blue Team compiled a 51-1 record winning their third National Championship. In 2005 the Stars Blue won their 2nd straight US National Championship.
 
Andrea Kallas
Assistant Director of Spokane Stars "Stitch" was a 1st Team All-GSL/All State guard from Central Valley High School where she was one of the most prolific shooters in teh state. She went on to play at Montana State-Billings & Big BEnd Community College where whe was All-Conference and was on the NWAACC leading scorers list. Andrea recently retired ranked #3 in the nation from USA Boxing at her respective weight class, winning the Oregon State Golden Gloves and the U.S. Region #12 Championship. Currently Andrea is in her 7th year as a Spokane Stars coach and is attending Gonzaga University majoring in Pre-Law.
 
Jim Asher
Jim is a former college basketball player at Eastern New Mexico University and pro basketball player with the San Antonio Spurs. He resides in Coeur d'Alene, ID.

 
 Emily Westerberg-Love
 The all-time leading scorer in Central Valley history, Westerberg was a two-time Washington Player of the Year, 2003 Gatorade Player of the Year and her team had a three year record of 82-4. She lead the C.V. Bears to 4A state championships in 2001 and 2002 and a runner-up finish in 2003. She was a two-time USA Today and Student Sports All-American. She played for the Spokane Stars which won BCI national championships in 2000 and 2001 and finished 2nd in 2002.

At Arizona State Emily was the first Sun Devil to be named first-team All-Pac 10 three straight years. While at ASU her team made the post season four times, including three NCAA tournaments. Her senior season, when she was co-captain, was capped by a school record 31 wins and an appearance in the Elite Eight, and finished as the school's sixth all-time leading scorer. In addition to earning academic honors in multiple seasons she was an honorable mention All-American as a senior and was drafted by the Phoenix Mercury of the WNBA.

Seattle Times Player of the Week, WNBA/NBA Ambassador for the 2005 National Team, 2007-08 All-League 1st Team, 2007-08 2nd team All-State, 2007-08 Tri-City Herald 1st team All-Area, 2007-08 1st Defense, 2007-08 AP All-State Honorable Mention.

Zoe Scott: (5'10'' Senior, University H.S.) GPA 3.55
 

Varsity starter as a sophomore; voted All-Greater Spokane League Honorable Mention 2007-08, 2nd team All-GSL 2008-09,

Played in the 2008 and 2009 Jack Blair memorial All-Star game.

Rated by the Spokesman Review in 2006 as a top ten Freshman impact player.

 

 Kelsey Matthews (5’7” Senior, Central Valley H.S.) GPA 3.85

Three year Varsity starter; voted All Greater Spokane League Honorable Mention 2008-09;

Rated by the Spokesman Review as a top five Freshman impact player; member of CVHS
